On January 1, 1999, I was led to share a vision that God
had given me with my Pastor, Rev. Horace Drumming of Rainbow Family Christian
Center (RFCC). It had been in my spirit for quite a while and I did not share it
with any one because I could not believe that God would give me a mission such
as the one for Rainbow Production Ministries (RPM). That morning after the New
YearÕs Eve service, approximately five of us including Pastor and his wife
fellowshipped over food. I was led to share the vision with the four others who
were there.
My Pastor suggested that I continue to meditate on the
vision and make an appointment to talk with him about the ministry so that he
could pray and give me words of wisdom as he was led. I complied.
It took 2 ½ years before I stepped out to operate in the
vision because of fear of failure for something so large. I was put in
remembrance about the position I held as Executive Director of a National
non-profit organization for approximately 7 years before receiving the
assignment. I then knew that I had been in a season of preparation for a time
such as this and I had nothing to fear when it is from God.
RPM is a separate entity from my church home, RFCC.
However we share the same vision Š to save the lost to Jesus Christ and RPM is
also accountable to the RFCC ministry as our umbrella organization for guidance
and spiritual instruction.
